Liquid Microneedling
We’re excited to introduce a new Boketto service: Liquid Microneedling. A non-invasive alternative to traditional microneedling that works at a deep level—refining texture, improving tone, and restoring brightness—without puncturing the skin.
Curious if it’s for you? Read on.
The How
Liquid Microneedling stimulates skin renewal without physically disrupting the surface. A concentrated active solution is applied to trigger cell turnover, hydration, and repair through biochemical signaling.
Traditional microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries to initiate that same repair response. Effective, but inherently invasive.
Liquid Microneedling skips the injury step entirely—no needles, no puncturing—relying instead on targeted chemical stimulation that works with the skin’s natural processes.
In short: same goal, different path.
The Who
Liquid Microneedling is designed for skin that wants change without stress. As a standalone treatment or as part of a broader skin plan, it’s ideal for anyone looking to:
- Improve uneven texture or dullness
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles (and scars)
- Slow down dehydration or loss of elasticity
- Correct mild pigmentation or acne scars
- Build long-term skin quality and resilience
- Support barrier recovery and overall skin health
t’s also a natural starting point for anyone hesitant about more invasive treatments, or simply looking for a more measured, consistent approach to skin health.
Think of it as maintenance with intention: keeping skin supported over time, not just corrected in moments.
The What (to Expect)
We use professional formulations from Lira Clinical, known for combining botanicals with advanced actives that support clarity, tone, and repair.
The treatment is straightforward and comfortable. Skin is cleansed and prepped, then a targeted solution is layered into the skin using a controlled technique that enhances absorption—without compromising the barrier.
You may feel a light tingling or warmth as the actives get to work. There are no needles, no puncturing, and no downtime.
Post-treatment, skin may appear slightly flushed before settling into a more even, refreshed look over the next several hours and days.
As always, if you have any reservations, we recommend checking with your primary care provider or booking a consultation with one of our estheticians.
Why we offer both
We offer both microneedling and Liquid Microneedling because skin isn’t one-size-fits-all—and neither are the ways we treat it.
At times, it asks for intensity—for a deeper push toward change. At others, it responds better to steadiness—to gentle, consistent support that builds over time.
We don’t see these approaches as opposites, but as complements. The brilliance is in knowing when to do more, when to do less, and when to simply support what the skin is already trying to do. And we do. Just ask ;-)
